In a concerted effort to bring essential services directly to the residents of Barangay Pandatung, Hermosa Mayor Jopet Inton spearheaded the latest installment of the Serbisyo Caravan under the Retooled Community Support Program.
The initiative, which took place on August 27, 2024, aimed to provide a variety of free services to the community, including haircuts, dental assistance, medical consultations, and the distribution of free medicines. The Serbisyo Caravan, led by the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) – Hermosa, was a collaborative effort involving multiple agencies and offices. Participants included the PSA-PhilSys, Philippine Army, Municipal Treasury Office, Municipal Agricultural Office, Municipal Health Office, Municipal Social Welfare Development Office, Assamblea Hermosa, PESO-Hermosa, and the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) – Bataan. Local leaders and key officials, such as Barangay Captain Narciso Robles, PNP Major Ernesto Esguerra, DILG Provincial Director Belina T. Herman, Philippine Army First Lieutenant Marc Rowe Land Felisan, PSA QHSE Officer Denis Tavara, and BFP Senior Fire Officer Eric G. Lorenzo, joined forces to ensure the success of the event.
The Serbisyo Caravan not only provided vital services but also delivered crucial information to the residents, reinforcing the local government’s commitment to uplifting the community. Mayor Inton expressed his gratitude for the collective efforts that made this event possible, emphasizing the importance of unity in achieving their shared goals.
